Hi all,

I'm Susanne and today I'm releasing my cozy horror Bad Grains, the first book in the Order of the Strawberry Circle series on itch.io. If you're a fan of Halloweentown, Coraline, the Goosebumps books, or even Stranger Things, you may like my book. All of them were some of the amazing sources of inspiration that led me to sit down and write Bad Grains. Think of it as a German take on a Halloween story.

Since I love to draw as well as write, all the illustrations are my own. The town map for Fels was inspired by the game Yomawari - it got me to think about how my main character, Jo, would draw her hometown, rather than going for a more generic look.
